Project Under Construction

 

Unified School District #200 Tribune, Kansas partnered with GMCN for a $4.8 million dollar bond issue renovation and remodel to its 1950's elementary school.  Renovations include: New Geothermal heating and cooling, new windows, new flooring, new electrical service, new ceilings, and a retro-fit metal roofing system.  These upgrades will enable USD #200 to provide state of the art education for its students.

USD 457 Garden City Bond Issue

Unified School District #457 has retained the architectural firm of Gibson, Mancini, Carmichael and Nelson, P.A. of Garden City, Kansas in conjunction with DLR Group of Overland Park, Kansas to design the proposed New Garden City High School.  The new 384,000 square foot facility is part of a  $97 million bond issue that was approved by voters in the November 2008 General Election.  Other segments of the bond issue include a 19,000 square foot ($3.65 million) addition to Garfield Elementary School converting it to a new Early Childhood Center.  Also included is a remodeling project at Abe Hubert Middle School to convert it to a new larger elementary school along with minor remodeling at the existing Garden City High School to convert it to a new larger middle school.  Scheduled completion of all projects would be summer 2012.
